Cascara is a coffee cherry tea, made from the fruit of the coffee plant. While coffee is the seed of the coffee cherry, the fruit itself is removed & often discarded as a by-product of the processing needed to remove the seed from the fruit.
Some farmers will reincorporate the husk into their composting, however, cascara also makes a delicious & healthy tea-like beverage which contains caffeine & a high level of antioxidants.

It’s great for drinking (Obvs), baking with & for some extra coffee inception, try steeping it with your cold brew!

Brew with water just off boil at 30 parts water to 1 part cascara for 4-6 minutes
